Lake Champlain Transportation is making some changes to its ferry schedules due to issues with staffing and Covid-19, the company said Friday.
Starting Jan. 17, one of the ferries running between Grand Isle and Plattsburgh, New York, will have reduced hours: 7:35 a.m. to around 5:35 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Two other boats serving the route will continue to run as scheduled, including on the weekends, the company said. The route will still operate 24 hours a day.
Farther south, the ferry crossing between Charlotte and Essex, New York, will stop operating on weekends for the winter season effective Jan. 22 and 23.
The route will continue to operate as scheduled Monday through Friday.
Complete ferry schedules are available online.
